Office 365 Provisioning Error "Unable to create this user because the user principal name provided is not on a verified domain"

Overview
Office 365 provisioning flow fails with the following error visible in the Okta dashboard:
Automatic provisioning of user "Example User" to app Microsoft Office 365 failed: Could not create user exampleuser@exampledomain.com in Office 365, received error: 400 Unable to create this user because the user principal name provided is not on a verified domain.

Cause
Solution
There are two possible solutions to this issue:
- Please correct the domain in the User's email address and try to make the provision again.
- If the Domain is correct, then verify the Domain in the O365 Tenant.
