No MFA Prompt when Connecting to Exchange Online via PowerShell

Overview
When connecting to Exchange Online via PowerShell, there is a prompt for entering the credentials in a pop-up. However, the MFA prompt was not received as expected.

Cause
The Exchange Online PowerShell cmdlet does not support MFA. Exchange Online Remote PowerShell Module must be used instead.
Solution
Please check and follow the procedure outlined by Microsoft: Connect to Exchange Online PowerShell using multi-factor authentication.
NOTE: It has been observed that downloading the Exchange Online Remote PowerShell Module using Chrome and then launching it from the downloaded file sometimes does not work properly. If this behavior is observed, try using Internet Explorer instead.
