Overview

When Custom Attribute Statements are added in a WS-Fed template application, it is not getting saved. When the custom attribute statement is shortened or the field is left empty, the application gets saved.

Cause
The expression in the Custom Attribute Statements field in the WS-FED template application is longer than 512 characters.
 
Solution

The Custom Attribute Statements field in the Ws-Fed template application is limited to 512 characters. If the expression is longer, it will not be accepted and will not be saved.

  1. Reduce the expression and limit it to 512 characters to comply with the 512-character limit.
  2. Click Save.
