Solution

When configuring custom attributes with Zoom's SAML Response Mapping, mapping them to Okta attributes can be inconsistent. 

For example:

  • The Department field presented in Zoom can be mapped directly from the SCIM mapping values in Okta as a custom attribute added to the profile and provisions correctly from Okta to Zoom once mapped.


However, the "Location" field within Zoom is not responsive to this setup.  The Location attribute needs to be mapped from the Okta Sign On page within the custom SAML Attribute mappings that are now available, as seen below:
