Overview
When enabling LastPass API integration, the following error is visible in the Okta dashboard:
Error authenticating: Unauthorized. Errors reported by remote server: Failed Authentication.

Cause
Solution
- Go to Okta Admin Console, navigate to Applications > LastPass > Provisioning > Integration > click the Edit button.

Refer to the LastPass Generate a Provisioning Token and Copy the Connection URL. Enter the following correct values from the LastPass Admin Console:

For the Base URL field, paste the Connection URL.

For the API Token field, paste the Provisioning Token.

Click Test API credentials to validate the information entered.

A message confirming successful authentication. Click Save.
