Solution
AWS is now officially supporting this functionality. Please refer to the official AWS Configuring the AWS CLI to use AWS Single Sign-On guide.
This feature is available only with AWS CLI version 2. It is not available if AWS CLI version 1 is run. For information on how to install version 2, see Installing the AWS CLI version 2.
