How to Use an Okta Email Distribution Group for Technical Contact

This article explains how to set up an email distribution group as the Technical contact.

Solution

Refer to the video or the steps below.


 

  1. Create an Okta user account, setting the email address to correspond to the distribution group (list).
  2. Assign an Okta administrator role to the account created above, as detailed in the Set up administrators documentation.
  3. Go to Settings > Account End-User Support, click on Edit, and specify the email address from step 1 in the Technical contact section.
