Solution

Follow the video or steps below.

If allowlisting the URL is insufficient, the SSL Certificate issued for the Okta Subdomain URL inside an integration to create a trust relationship (for example, LDAP Interface, On-Prem Applications, etc.) can be used.

The Okta Subdomain uses the wildcard certificate for *.okta.com and it can be retrieved from a browser like Google Chrome by following the steps below:

Google Chrome Browser is used in the following example:

  1. Go to the Okta URL, click the Lock button next to the URL, and then click the Connection button.
    Lock button
  2. Click on the Certificate button.
    Certificate button
  3. Go to the Details tab of the certificate and click on Export.
    Export button
  4. Choose the format for the environment and click on Save.
Choose the format for the environment

After all the steps have been completed, all that needs to be done is to install the certificate in the environment.

Similar steps can be taken to download the certificate from other browsers.
