Overview
This is a guide on how to trigger a reset of the random passwords stored for the JIRA users without actually having everyone update their Okta password.
Applies To
- JIRA Server
Solution
- In the Admin Console, go to Applications > Applications.
- Click Jira and then click the Provisioning tab.
- In the Settings list, click To App.
- In this location, the option to Reset All Apps' Passwords can be found. Following the password reset, the subsequent message 'Generating new passwords and syncing to the app' will be displayed.
- The users will receive a notification that the password for the app was changed:
