This article describes how to request an application to be added to the Okta End-User Dashboard.

If the application is not yet available to be assigned, it can be requested to be added. To request an application to be added, follow the steps listed below:
- In the Okta End User Dashboard, look for the Add apps section.
- Search for the application that should be added.
- Click on the Request an app button to submit the application request.
- On the pop-up window, enter the request's details, such as the URL or the application's name, and submit it by clicking the Send to <organization> IT button.
NOTE:
- If the Allow users to add personal apps option (located in Applications > Self Service) is enabled, the user can create a bookmark. The search results display We couldn’t find this app, Add a bookmark instead. User can enter the App URL and App name and (optional) to select the Ask <organization> IT to add this app checkbox.
- The Request an app button can also be located at the bottom of the My Apps section on the Okta End-User Dashboard.
