Overview

This article describes how to fix a Push Profile update to the UltiPro external application when it failed due to the following XML error:

OperationAccessDenied is not a standard Code value

Applies To
  • UltiPro Provisioning
  • UltiPro Writeback
Cause
This XML error is normally caused by incorrect/insufficient permission set on the UltiPro Service Account used to set up Okta/UltiPro provisioning integration.
Solution
  1. Please work with an UltiPro Administrator to double-check and ensure the Service Account has all the required permission sets assigned to the UltiPro Service Account permission configuration in order for the Okta Writeback function to work:

  2. Then, perform Test API Credential from Okta Admin Dashboard > UltiPro > Provisioning > Integration > Edit, and ensure the service account is validated successfully. Click the Save button.

  3. Navigate to Okta Admin Dashboard > Dashboard > Tasks page and retry the failed Ultipro app provisioning task(s).
