How to Extract the Event Result (SUCCESS or FAILURE) from an Okta Event Card in a Workflow
Last Updated:
Overview
When a workflow is triggered by an event in Okta, the event outcome may be needed to make processing decisions in the workflow. The Event Details object on the event card has an Outcome object that includes result and reason attributes, if applicable. Note that for some events, the Outcome object may not exist or may be empty.
The event result can be extracted at the beginning of the workflow, which will typically have a value of SUCCESS or FAILURE and can be used to determine if the workflow should proceed or be terminated.
