How to Enable or Disable the End User "Request an App" Feature

Overview

The Request an app button in the bottom left of the Okta End User Dashboard may be enabled or disabled using the instructions available in this article.

  • End User Application Requests
Solution
  1. In the Okta Admin Console, navigate to Applications > Self Service.
  2. In the User App Requests section, click Edit.
  3. Check or uncheck the Allow users to email 'Technical Contact' to request an app.
  4. Click Save.
