Users must configure Microsoft Outlook on an iOS device using Okta credentials. Configure the application by adding the federated email address in the Outlook app and authenticating through the Okta sign-in prompt.

Configure the Microsoft Outlook application on an iOS device by adding the federated email account and authenticating through Okta.
- Open the Microsoft Outlook app on the iOS device.
- Select Add Account.
- Enter the federated email address (for example,
<user@example.com>). - Okta redirects the session to the sign-in page to authenticate with Okta credentials.
- NOTE: If Microsoft Authenticator application is installed, the device launches the application and redirects to Okta for authentication.
- Complete the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) prompt if required.
Okta validates the credentials, redirects back to Outlook, and makes the mail account available for use.
