How to Enable Browser-Based Authentication for Zscaler Client
Multi-Factor Authentication
Overview

When logging in to the Zscaler Client, Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) options are not remembered as an embedded browser is used by the client. Normal functionality observed in common browsers like Chrome or Firefox cannot be guaranteed.

Applies To
  • Multi-factor Authentication (MFA)
Solution

This depends on the standardized browser functionality that the embedded browser does not appear to support. Browser-based authentication must be enabled from the Authentication Settings in the Zscaler Client Connector Portal.
