Overview
Google Workspace import fails with the following error:
An error occurred during import
JDBC exception on Hibernate data access: SQLException for SQL [n/a]; SQL state [HY000]; error code [1366]; could not execute statement; nested exception is org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: could not execute statement

Cause
The error is related to special characters, including emojis, mathematical symbols, and/or foreign characters used in the group's name and description that were imported from Google Workspace.
Solution
Follow the steps or video below:
- Verify that all the groups that are trying to be imported from Google Workspace do not have any special characters, including emojis, mathematical symbols, and/or foreign characters in the name or description.
- Once the group name or description is corrected, attempt the import again.
