Overview
Upon creating a group rule and previewing a user, the following error occurs:
Expression cannot be evaluated for Users with a custom user type.
Applies To
- Group Rules
- Custom user types
Cause
Group rules currently do not support non-default user types (as configured in Directories > Profile Editor > Create Okta User Type).
Solution
Evaluated users will need to be converted to the default type.
