This article contains instructions on enabling the Okta LDAP Interface.

Failing to enable the LDAP Interface will result in an error in the application and/or the System Log when attempting to utilize the interface:

ldap_bind: Insufficient access (50)
additional info: You do not have permission to perform the requested action : (Refer to Okta error Code E0000006)

• Directories
• LDAP Interface

1. Navigate to the Okta Admin Dashboard and select Directory > Directory Integrations.

2. Select the dropdown labeled Add Directory and select Add LDAP Interface.
    

3. The LDAP Interface is now enabled. A page showing the required connection settings to connect to the LDAP interface is displayed.
    

NOTE: Only one instance of the LDAP interface can be enabled per Okta tenant. The LDAP Interface instance supports connecting multiple Apps.
