Datadog SAML Certificate Activation Error "Unable to activate key" in Okta

Overview
An error occurs when activating a new Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) certificate for the Datadog application because of a previous application update. Resolve this issue by creating a new Datadog integration.
After generating a new SAML certificate for the Datadog application, Okta generates an error in the dashboard when attempting to activate the certificate:
Unable to activate key
