Administrators must update the Integrated Windows Authentication (IWA) service account or its password in Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) to maintain Desktop Single Sign-on functionality. Update the identity settings within the OktaIWA Application Pool in the IIS Manager to apply the new credentials.

What are the steps to update the IWA service account password in IIS?
Update the service account credentials by modifying the identity settings of the OktaIWA application pool within the IIS Manager.
- Open IIS Manager on the IWA agent server.
- Expand the left menu and select Application Pools.
- Right-click OktaIWA and select Advanced Settings...
- Select Identity and click the ellipsis button to the right of the username.
- Enter the updated information and select Save.
- Restart the Application Pool.
