Solution
There is no way to convert Google groups into Okta groups, except for Admins removing Google Workspace as a source. The groups will need to be recreated as Okta groups.
A group rule could be used to "copy" the users from the imported group into an Okta group.
NOTE: If provisioning is disabled along with Import Groups, the Google Workspace groups will be removed from Okta.
