Overview
When a Super Admin tries to remove the privileges for another Super Admin, the operation fails with:
Access to this resource is denied. Please try again or contact your admin.
Applies To
- Okta Super Admin
- Administrators
- Edit/Revoke administrator permissions
Cause
This error is given when a group-assigned Super Admin tries to remove an individually assigned Super Admin, and the target is the only remaining individually assigned Super Admin.
Solution
Create or use another individually assigned Super Admin and leverage it to remove permissions from the targeted account. For more details, please consult the Super Administrator document.
