- End-User Dashboard
After clicking the Apply dashboard to new users button, all new end users that are activated in Okta will see the created tabs and the apps assigned to them. If a user was activated prior to performing this action, the user will not see the changes to the Dashboard layout. This allows the Admin to manage the end users' first-day experience. Once signed in, end users can move apps within and between tabs, create their own tabs, add personal apps, and delete tabs. An Admin can also apply different dashboards to different sets of new, unactivated end users. For example, the Admin can configure a dashboard for one set of new end users, activate those users, and then configure a different dashboard for another set of new end users and activate them. Once activated and signed in to Okta, the two sets of new end users will see a different dashboard.
