15Five provisioning flow fails with the following error visible in the Okta dashboard:
Automatic provisioning of user <username> to app 15five failed: Error while creating user <username>: Internal Server Error. Errors reported by remote server: Exception occurred while processing the SCIM request
- 15Five
- Provisioning
- Error
- System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM)
When Okta tried to create a specific user, the 15Five app returned an HTTP 500 Internal Server Error because 15Five's SCIM server could not fulfill the request to create the user on the application side.
- Contact 15Five Support to find out why the 15Five SCIM server returned the HTTP 500 Internal Server Error and to assist in implementing a resolution.
- After resolving the issue on the 15Five side, attempt the user provisioning again. Go to Okta Admin Console and navigate to Dashboard > Tasks. Any failed assignments should appear under Tasks.
- After identifying the failed task for the user that should be retried, click on Retry Selected.
