KyleJ.56224 (Customer) asked a question.

Need help with SSO JIT Group Attribute Configuration to Claroty xSA

We have a cloud web-based application that integrates SSO SAML JIT with Okta, it is a very simple straightforward configuration where we only look at Group IDs and from there delegate permissions on our side. Problem is, our customer wants granular control of user and group permissions and since we are merely a passthrough we need some way to emulate possibly a nested group scenario with attributes. Is there someone we could work with to take a look at our scenario and advise? Thanks.

Hello @KyleJ.56224 (Customer) , thank you for contacting Okta Community!

The group nesting feature isn’t currently on the Roadmap.

If you have a paid account, you can suggest a new feature to be added through the Okta Community page by going to the Community→ Ideas tab. Features suggested in our community are reviewed and can be voted on and commented on by other members. High popularity will increase the likelihood of it being picked up by the Product Team and implemented.

You can find more details here.

    Regards.
