When users sign into our company resources, they receive an error stating their account is not found, using their username instead of their email. Their email is in the OKTA Group that provides access to MFA. However, searching by employee number, which is an attribute in their OKTA account, still results in the account not being found. Any ideas?

If the Okta username and email are different, then this could be what causes the issue. It depends on your organisation settings, if it accepts only Okta username or Okta Username and Email.
