I lost my phone with the Okta verify app and now I am not able to login back in my Okta account as admin.
I tried removing and adding device from settings menu, but it also requires code. How can I setup new device for Okta verify now?

Thanks for posting.
If you are an Admin then try using Okta API to list enrolled factor for your UserID and Delete unwanted factor. For more information refer - https://developer.okta.com/docs/reference/api/factors/
If you are an End user then login to user dashboard - Click on your name -> Settings -> Extra Verification. Delete unwanted factor "Okta Verify" and register a new device."
If that last option isn't there, you'll need to contact your own Okta admin/IT Help Desk about resetting your factor.

Thanks for your response.
I am trying the Factors API, which needs apikey(token) and I think we can not generate token without logging into account as admin as mentioned here. Is there some other way to get apikey?

If you don't have appropriate API key, there is no other way, you need to contact your own Okta admin/IT Help Desk about resetting your factor 🙂
