cc2ra (cc2ra) asked a question.
Some of my volunteers don't have multifactor authentication on their profile. I think this may be why they can't user the Okta verify app on their phones. I can't see how to set this up. Any help or explanation on what the Multi factor authentication is for would be very helpful.

Hi Annette
In your Admin screen look at the following menus:
Security > Multifactor (Factor Types Tab)
Selects which MFA options are allowed.
Security > Multifactor (Factor Enrollment Tab)
That has the policies and the rules for which MFA options are available to which users.
Security > Authentication (Sign On Tab)
Here you can set policies to require MFA on Sign On
In each app you can also set if there is an App level MFA required under the Sign On Tab and Sign on Policy section.
Hope this helps,
Anthony
Thank you for your response. I can't access security to make the changes to the multi factor. How can I get the authority for this?
Thanks
Annette
My guess is that you don’t have super admin permissions. You may have to ask someone in tour organization to increase your access or speak to your Okta Customer Success Manager.
