Warning message when making OU selection changes
When an Okta Admin makes a change to the selected OU's, either by adding or removing selections, the following warning is always presented: "Changing OUs will deactivate all AD mastered users not in the new OU. If you've enabled provisioning for specific apps, this could potentially result in deactivated accounts."
I'm unsure what this means or if I should proceed. Can you provide guidance?
- dbebout1.3722909087270752E12 (Okta, Inc.)This warning message is displayed any time you make any OU selection change within your AD Settings page. The idea here is to make sure you are aware of the downstream impact of making these OU changes. Obviously, if you remove an OU in which users reside in AD, they will be deprovisioned from Okta and any downstream applications. However, adding OUs is benign in this instance and the warning can be ignored.Expand Post
