In addition to being able to deprovision or factory reset an end user’s mobile device, Okta can now remotely lock a device. This can be used in cases, for example, where the disposition of an end user’s device is uncertain, but the user doesn’t warrant a factory reset.
To lock a device remotely:
- From the Admin page, select Devices.
- Select the device you wish to remotely lock.
- Select Device Actions.
- Select Remote Lock.
