Tell us a bit about yourself and your role:
I am a IAM architect so I design and implement Identity and Access management solutions.
I have been at Oportun for the last six months. Oportun is a loan service company which lends micro loans. I have vast experience in architecting IAM solutions for the past eight years with various clients including eBay and Sony.

How long have you been an Okta customer?
2 years.

How has your role evolved since first using Okta?
I have acquired a lot of SSO and federation knowledge which acts as the foundation for my role and all that I do.

What's your best advice for someone just starting with IAM?
I have been working with Okta for almost a year now. It is very robust and easy to configure.
The single sign-on features are amazing and it continues to save our company a ton of money.
For anyone choosing an IAM solution, Okta would be the way to go.

What keeps you coming back to the Okta Community?
New features like adaptive MFA and others are being added, which keeps me updated with the IAM world.

Favorite Okta feature:
The mobile device management solution is the best in the market. Being able to manage our store users and their devices effortlessly is impressive as well as the remote lock and wipe out function on a lost mobile.

Okta in one word/phrase:
Brilliant.

Favorite technology (personal or business):
Evernote.

What would you do without Okta?
We’d all have to remember passwords for access to each application.

If you had more time in the day, what would you do?
Swim.

Favorite travel destination:
Las Vegas-- so Oktane was great!

Best meal you’ve ever had:
Thali-- an Indian, Bengali, and Nepalese meal served on a round platter.

Words to live by:
Dream On.

Favorite sports team:
Blackhawks.

How do you stay up to date with technology news?
Reading Gartner notes.
