Introducing the New Trust Dashboard

Feb 08, 2018 | by Tom Witczak in Administration

Okta is committed to trust and transparency. As such, we continually solicit feedback on how to most effectively communicate with our customers, especially during trust incidents so you’re up to date on the latest that’s happening with the service. To that end, we’ve redesigned the Okta Trust Site from the ground up to give you more efficient and timely trust information and flexibility in receiving updates during an incident.

Previously, included 12-month up times, overall, and we miss being able to track that on behalf of our engineering efforts and our customer support.

We will create an Okta Org for each of our clients, and we plan to have our clients' Okta Orgs in multiple cells.

Please make sure that when you work to improve this site for your clients that you include the use case of being able to see overall 12-month up time and then be able to drill into specific cells and org for clients who create Orgs across your cells.

Also, when do you plan to display 12-month up time on

It'd be nice if original xml-feed could be linked in addition to feedburner, to get a proper RSS feed to work with. We're using that in Slack for example, to notify about events, and feedburner doesn't work properly with the RSS integration in Slack. Ofc, the feedburner source url could be fetched by checking the page source on feedburner, but I'm sure there are more ppl who don't appreciate feedburner...

If memory serves me right on the previous version, there was an up-time percentage shown (per day and/or per month). Since our entire SLA structure is based on these percentages, they should be shown very prominently. What happened to them?

@Richard Gardner - the new trust dashboard will be available 2/9/2018!

@Pablo Valarezo - great feedback! we are planning on improving the dashboard to be personalized to your cell/org in the future!

    Hi, Tom,

you note "coming soon" but what does that mean?  Early Access? Beta? GA?

  • Pablo Valarezo on February 8, 2018

It would be beneficial to see the Cell # in the dashboard... unless it's already personalized or each cell its own dashboard url.
