Automatic profile push of user to app Active Directory failed: Error updating active_directory user: The object already exists.

Hi,
Getting an error on proviosioning user to AD app. Automatic profile push of user  to app Active Directory failed: Error updating active_directory user: The object already exists.
this is happening only to one user. Any idea why this user is erroring out? We did import he user from AD first to Okta and then when we assign the Workday app it give this error.

Thanks for posting your question to the Okta Community!

How are your apps assigned to users in Okta, are you using Groups? If so, one avenue you can take would be to unassign and then reassign the user to the group used for app assignments.

If this group assignment is done in Active Directory, you may want to unassign the user from the group, run an import, then reassign the user to the group and then reimport into Okta.
