how much mobile data is used when okta verify with push is performed?

I am trying to determine exactly how much data an approval signal from a mobile device uses.  When you use OKTA Verify with push, how much mobile data is used when not on WiFi?

Interesting. Testing it out on Android, looks like it is about 16 KB per push (and response). It's likely this is required and a combination of the Push notification system's payload (GCM for Android or APNS for iOS) and Okta Verify's payload. However, we take data usage very seriously and will definitely look at how that could be improved in the future.

Hi Jon,

I'd imagine the data used is very small. Around 1 KB. If you still want a precise amount, I can try to get that for you, but it may take some time. Do you need a precise amount? If you're seeing an order of magnitude of difference here (10s of KBs) let me know and I can look into it.

I checked my Cell usage last month and see several instances of 31kb at the time I normally need to have push notification.

Thank you all for your feedback.  I would love to know exact amounts but knowing it's so small helps us communicate that to our users with POD's
