SCCM Installation Issues

I'm using the MSI to deploy the OKTA plugin to clients on IE11, using windows 7/8.1/10, Software Center always shows the install or upgrade as failed, even though it installed correct with the toolbar enabled.

The software change returned error code 0x87D00324(-2016410844).

Are there specific detection methods needed for the deployment to be shows as installed?

Sorry but that doesnt help, i switched it from using the msi product code detection, which doesn't work, to dll version detection.

I used the following for my install.cmd, leaving out the %ERRORLEVEL% variable. With Okta 5.6.3 letting msiexec return the success or fail code on its own appears to work on a test machine.

c:\windows\system32\Taskkill /IM iexplore.exe /F
msiexec.exe /i "okta.swa.ie-5.6.3.msi" /q
