Wiki and Jira random password

For certain reasons we cannot enable SAML for these apps, so I was investigating the use of the random password option that Okta offers.
We have both apps and both of them are using the same Crowd directory for authentication. So, if I use the random password option from within Okta, both of them will try to push a random password that will overwrite one the other.

I do not want to push the Okta password (which solves the issue), I want to push a truly random password that will be great from a security point of view.

Any thoughts?

For Jira, Okta offers sync password as well as sync random password.  The random password feature must be turned on in your Okta org.

Hi Raja

I am aware of that. The problem is that if two applications offer to provide a random password and push it to the same directory, then it becomes impossible to follow which password is active every time.

I am not sure if I am getting the meaning out correctly.
