How do I test apps for compatibility with upcoming Core Library update BEFORE it's turned on in my environment?

we have an oktapreview.com environment but unfortunately it is not setup the same as production so I'm not sure that would really be a good test for some apps.  Others I doubt I could setup to test at all in oktapreview because of the differences.  Is there another way to get our critical apps tested for compatibility with the Core Library update BEFORE it's applied to our prod environment?

Thank you for contacting Okta,

When the new library is released to Preview on 4/18/17 you will be able to opt-in on Production and quickly test by doing an SP and IDP initiated login flow (for any SAML app). If both login flows succeed, no further testing is required.
The Kb listed below will present you with some key applications that have been tested so far. Please take a look over it and see if your critical apps are listed.

Thanks Bogdan. I guess that leads to my next question. On 4-18 will I be able to opt-in and opt-out at will? Or is it once you’re in there’s no going back? john
