Unable to deactivate Yubikey

We have a user that was deleted from OKTA and their Yubikey was not deactivated before the deleting.  Now I cannot Delete the Yubikey its stuck in an active state.  The Okta portal says to reset MFA on the user before it can be deleted.  User doesn’t exist anymore so I am unable to do so.  Anyone run into this before.  I would like to remove this key.

In this case, I would recommend attempting to follow the steps provided under the following documentation, under Removing Lost, Stolen, or Invalid YubiKeys:
