Scheduling imports to run at a specific time

Has anyone found a way (maybe through the API) to get around Okta's limitation of an import starting X hours after the last one finishes?  We are using Workday, and need the job to run between 1AM-5AM, which means I am either up in the middle of the night to manually kick it off, or every few days I am up in the middle of the night adjusting the start time.  I am hoping to borrow/steal someone's awesome invention to solve this problem :)

As for the moment, the only option for scheduling imports is the one you described, where the next imports will start at a certain interval after the last one completed.

This presents an issue for our organization, as we have internal processes that will rely on imports running at a predictable time. As imports don't complete at the exact same time every day, future import start times will drift until eventually you need to manually stop imports and re-enable them at the originally-desired start time. Not ideal. I hope this is added as a feature in the near future.
