what is state token?

Hi,

I am trying to make changes related to MFA through API calls.
I found that a parameter named state token is required for that.
Please help me in understanding about its value and usage.

Hi Tanay, a state token is ephemeral token that encodes the current state of an authentication transaction.

Yes, I see that link, but how do we get that state token in order to provide it into the headers so we can make the API call?
Please let us know
