OKTA Mobile App - Office 365 SWA Setup - Stuck on Redirecting?
We've recently setup Office 365 with Sign-In Method Secure Web Authentication. We set the authentication settings as "Administrator sets username, password is the same as user's Okta password". The applications work fine in web browser in Windows environment, but when using the OKTA Mobile App we're finding that when we click on the app it seems to load up a browser session that automatically plugs in our e-mail and just gets stuck on "Redirecting". I pulled the URL and opened it within Safari on my iPhone and am getting the federation prompt to login, where the OKTA mobile app doesn't show this.
Is anyone else experiencing this and has a solution so that Office365 authenticates through in OKTA Mobile?
In order to mitigate this isssue you can try reconfiguring the Office 365 application. You can also try using different phones. Also, do make sure that the operating system and the Okta Mobile app is up-to-date.
Another way to get around this issue is to enable WS-Fed on your Office 365 tenant.
