End User Password Reset

Your Okta-mastered end users can easily reset their own passwords when needed by doing the following:

  1. From the Okta Home page, click the drop-down menu next to your name, then select Settings.

  1. On the Settings page, find the Change Password section and click the EditProfile button.

  2. Before any changes can be made, end users are prompted to verify using their second factor authentication, if multifactor authentication is configured.

  3. In the Change Password section, enter the current and new passwords.

  1. Click the Change Password button to confirm the change.
