Toolkit Overview

The Adoption Toolkit gives you a head start to educating your end users and building awareness around how Okta securely connects people to the applications they use every day.  

You can edit the files in the toolkit so you can create tools specific your company and your Okta launch.  Watch this video for a quick overview:
 

Lessons Learned & Best Practices:  End User Adoption

The Adoption Toolkit is based on our experience and best practices developed over the years with many deployments of varying size and complexity.  The toolkit includes resources our customers have identified as the most helpful.  

When to Start End User Adoption:  Project Kick Off

When you implement Okta, you ask end users to change the way they work.  This process takes time for end users to accept and feel ready or willing to use the new solution.  End user adoption efforts should start as soon as the project kick off.  to build and deploy the environments occurs.  This gives them time to accept the solution while the implementation team builds and deploys your identity management solution. This means your customers will be prepared to accept the new experience when it goes live.
Below is the list of templates the implementation team can use to start organizing end user adoption efforts throughout your Okta execution project lifecycle.

The User Adoption folder of the toolkit contain general templates which can benefit any customer.   The provided materials in the, “User Adoption Toolkit” folder are most effective when leveraged in the following order:

Single Sign-On (SSO):  Order of Materials

The Single Sign-On (SSO) folder of the toolkit only applies to customers who are deploying SSO in their environment.  The provided materials in the, “Single Sign-On (SSO)” folder are most effective when used in the following order: 
  1. "Intro to Okta SSO" Presentations
  2. Communication Templates
  3. Quick Reference Guides
  4. Okta Go-Live Announcement Posters

 

Adaptive Multi-Factor Authentication (AMFA):  Order of Materials

The AMFA folder of the toolkit only applies to customers who are deploying AMFA in their environment.  The provided materials in this folder are most effective when used in the following order:

Okta Mobility Management (OMM):  Order of Materials

The OMM folder of the toolkit only applies to customers who are deploying OMM in their environment.  Provide the following materials to end users to help them configure their mobile devices.
