In addition to providing out-of-box SSO and provisioning integrations for cloud apps, you can configure provisioning integrations to applications behind your firewall using the On-Premises Provisioning feature.

On-Premises Provisioning enables you to provision users from Okta to on-premises applications and keep user profiles in on-premises applications up to dateThis feature also enables other provisioning features including password push, user deactivation, group push, user import, and group import.

On-Premises Provisioning operates through a provisioning agent that is built with the same architecture as the Okta Active Directory Agent. The provisioning agent is light weight with no firewall changes and instant failover across agents. The provisioning agent supports the SCIM standard natively, and Okta provides an SDK with sample connectors to help you connect any on-prem application to the agent.

On-Premises Provisioning is an add-on module. Contact your account representative for more information.
